Fighting Boredom Wisely
As a response to the COVID-19 crisis, many states and cities have ordered the closure of non-essential businesses and have asked that people stay home. Having to close and stay at home is devastating to any business. However, a smart business owner will take this down-time to prepare for when business opens again. Rather then sit home and watch TV all day, take time to work on the level of online exposure your business currently has.
Vanquish Boredom & Plan for Future Business
- Engage Customers – Take time to engage customers via social media by posting content relevant to your business on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Avoid engaging customers in banter about the current crisis (unless it relates to your business) but instead showcase your products, services, before and after photos, etc.
- Create New Content – Spend time writing articles and blog posts to be shared on your website. Be sure to write relevant content to your business’s products and services, as well as helpful articles and FAQ’s.
- Review Your Existing Content – Spend time looking over your website’s content. Check to make sure your content including, photos, products, services, pricing, employees, etc. are all up to date.
